The Snakes are still slithering at Clark County Park District –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On September 28, 2015

Clark Co., IL. (ECWd) –
The Clark County Park District held what some are calling an illegal meeting tonight. Illegal, because residents tell us there was no 48 hour notice for the prior to the meeting as required by the Open Meetings Act.
On the agenda is what appears to be a expertly crafted maneuver to keep attendance at a minimum. It was common knowledge that Charity Murphy had submitted her resignation with a final date of employment schedule for Sep 30, 2015. So the “discuss retention of executive director” was seen as a logical step, which would have been to hire a new director, but that was soon found out to be a “bait and switch”.
People couldn’t figure out why there would be an agenda item for director’s contract if they hadn’t hired one yet…
So they hired one tonight. They hire Charity Murphy and added another $15,000 to her salary, bringing it to around $59,000 per year.
Yes, you heard that right…
This pay raise was apparently for a job well done in rigging the election with fraudulent and forged election documents, becoming involved in a drunken brawl on the boat dock a couple months ago, and miserably failing to comply with the Freedom Of Information Act.
The majority of the board, Ewing, Stepp, Stone, and Kuehnel, thought this was a good idea, and why not? Board President Joe Ewing was the recipient of the forged and fraudulent election documents which enabled his name to be placed on the ballot.
I usually say “you get what you vote for”, but in this case that vote was built on a fraud the likes that Clark County has never before seen.

Discuss retention of executive director seems pretty clear to me.

When the executive director is fired or resigns, you must retain an executive director.
If they were to simply keep the same one, it should have been – approve new contract, or approve ridiculous pay raise…

With the word “retention” in the description, you thought they would hire a new director?

Well, if I retain an attorney am I not hiring one?
If I retain an Engineer, Auditor, etc… am I not hiring one?

There is a legal way to fix all of this…DISSOLUTION…..read the Illinois Park District Code, Article 13…..submit petitions with signatures of 20% of registered voters within the park district, get the question on the ballot, get 2/3 of votes cast in favor of the dissolution, and BANG–DONE DEAL! Property goes to the school district. End of EWING/STONE/STEPP/KUEHNEL/MURPHY and the planned subdivision. THINK ABOUT IT!

Charlie Pride once had a song out entitled “Oh the Snakes Crawl at Night”. If the above posting is entirely true, then that song should be sung at every meeting.
