Caseyville, IL. Mayor shamed into mowing grass, makes excuses –

Caseyville, IL. (ECWd) –
One day after being publicly blasted for letting the grass grow out of control at his rental properties, Caseyville Mayor Leonard Black addresses the public at an open meeting.
At the latest Caseyville City Council meeting, the Mayor told residents he mowed his yard (finally), and then started listing a bunch of excuses as to why it didn’t get mowed prior to people commenting on it.
All he really had to say was “Thanks for bringing it to my attention – I mowed it” – but with all the excuses, he still hasn’t taken responsibility for the original problem.
