Clark Co., IL. (ECWd) –
It’s official, the Clark County Park District has received its 19th letter from the Illinois Attorney General’s Public Access Counselor seeking answers as to why the district cannot seem to follow the law and answer requests for information.
Maybe it’s time for the AG to bring in a Task Force and forcibly place every record the district owns on the internet, unredacted.
There is no excuse, Charity Murphy knows the law and refused to follow it.
I understand there is a new clerk assisting in responding to these, but the response so far has not been very quick.
The case number on this one is 2015 PAC 36726

Posted at 17:31h, 16 AugustJohn is taking the first step by filing complaints with the AG. I assume if that goes nowhere, soon he will file a lawsuit in our local circuit court. There are MANY citizens working in the background (and I proudly include myself), as well as some decent commissioners, to hold individuals accountable for their crimes and lies. Unfortunately, when you have a state’s attorney who will do nothing, and a sheriff’s office who does not have to time to investigate over 100 counts of CRIMINAL ACTS, you are left bitching with about nothing else you can do about it. It’s quite disturbing. What’s really even more disturbing is that this is happening all over the state. People must quit being apathetic and get involved!

Posted at 10:06h, 16 AugustOk. at what point will this stop and something be done about this? I would think by now, that this is a blatant disregard for the law that’s knowingly and purposely not responding and it’s time for some hefty fines!
