County Board Member Dale English Resigns…

EDGAR CO. (ECWd) –

Edgar County Board member Dale English submitted his resignation to the County Clerk today.

“It is with regret that I announce my resignation from the Edgar County board after 13 months of service. I have tried to do a good job but my one vote will not change the status quo. I know this decision will upset some (not all) and I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause in the next election. Thanks for all you do and please keep up the good work. Dale English“

We don’t have any details at this point but will report on them as we find out more.  One can only speculate what he meant by referencing his vote not being able to change the status quo.

Mr. English was appointed to the board last year to fill the remaining term for Chris Patrick who resigned during a tumultuous short term filled with conflicts.   With concerns of the status quo I suspect he will withdrawal his name from the upcoming election as well.
