PARIS, IL. (ECWd) –
A ceremony in honor of Edgar County Deputy John D. Landrum, who died in the line of duty while responding to a domestic disturbance on February 15, 1989, was held to day at the Edgar County Courthouse.
-Edgar County Sheriff Edward Motley permanently retired Deputy Landrum’s Badge, Number 103, from service.

Posted at 22:41h, 04 MayA well presented program in honor of John. I was proud to have worked with John at the sheriffs dept and know he would have been proud of all the family and friends and law enforcement ambulance and fire that were there to honor him.
