Edgar County Board Meeting Video (April 9, 2014) –

PARIS, IL. (ECWd) –
The Edgar County Board held its monthly meeting at 9:00 a.m. on April 9, 2014.
Once again I would like to thank the board for recording their meetings and posting them online for those that cannot make it to the meetings.
Several items were voted on, and those include:
-Raising of fees collected
-Pay raises for elected officials – effective after the November election
-Tabling payment of a bill from an attorney (it will have to be paid – no way around it). Apparently a board member is upset he has to vote to pay a bill from an attorney that was used to sue the board – get over it Mike, you have to pay it.
-Various road construction projects
-Hiring of the assistant ESDA Coordinator
-Appointing Dan Bruner to the Public Health Board
-Additionally, Ed Motley stated that he would rather they add any raise he might have gotten to the Sheriff’s budget instead.
