IROQUOIS CO. (ECWd) –
Watchdog Kirk Allen has filed a Miscellaneous Remedy FOIA Suit in Iroquois County Court this morning. This filing is due to the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department’s FOIA Officer, Julie Clark, and Deputy FOIA Officer, Doug Corbett, improperly denying a request for public documents.
The following documents were requested on March 18, 2013:
“Copy of all Grant Applications submitted by the FIPHD to any agency for the last two years”
“Copy of all Grant’s received for the last two years”
“Copy of all Grant compliance documents for the last two years”
“Copy of all Time Cards or employee sign in sheets for Julie Clark”
“Copy of all FIPHD OMA online training certificates provided by the Attorney General for the Board Members”
“Copy of OMA and FOIA online training certificates provided by the Attorney General for Julie Clark”
“Copy of the location of the FIPHD office utilizing this fax number (618) 288-1636 as outlined on the FIPHD Web Site.”
“Copy of the identification and membership of any board, commission, committee, or council which operates in an advisory capacity relative to the operation of the public body, or which exercises control over its policies or procedures, or to which the public body is required to report and be answerable for its operations.”
This is the second such suit naming the FIPHD and it’s FOIA personnel within the past week.
