County Board Member Ben Jenness has called a special meeting of the Edgar County Airport Committee, which is made up of the three County Board Members, Ben Jenness, Dan Bruner, Mike Heltsley.
Its our understanding that this committee is going to review the proposed business lease/contract that a sub-committee of the entire Airport Board has drafted as it relates to future Fixed Based Operators operating from the Edgar County Airport.
We encourage everyone that has an interest in Edgar County and its future growth to attend the meeting.
A public session is required by law and you all will have up to 5 minutes of time to speak.

Concerned Taxpayer
Posted at 22:34h, 26 MarchIt is certainly obvious there are lots of concerned taxpayers questioning the motives and decisions being made by county board members and a few airport advisory comittee members by the turnout at tonights meeting. They need to look for a bigger building. We are gaining momentum. Support RSB Aviation and eliminate those with their “private agendas”. They DO NOT represent the people of our county. Their interests are self-serving. Support the workers at the Edgar County Highway Dept. also. Attend the Wed. – 9:15 meeting on “Conflict of Interest”. Together we can change Edgar County.
