Update on the Notice I spotted:

I promised an update when information was gathered, so here goes:

Apparently this property owner is alleging that Deputy Burgin has been harassing him, harassing customer of his, insulting his customers, entering non-public areas of his business without permission, trespassing and being obnoxious to the point of scaring away customers. Karl Farnham, a county board member was also notified and apparently did nothing about it.

A letter from property owner’s lawyer was sent to the Sheriff, Dee Burgin, Karl Farnham, State’s Attorney, and the Paris Police Department giving Deputy Burgin notice that he is not allowed on this property, with certain limited official circumstances excepted.
