From Metcalf, Edgar County, Illinois – A videotaped confession and it gets a plea deal?
News story from WICD – Danville is here.
Keep in mind:
The legal components surrounding domestic violence are unlike any other crime. Officers have a specific duty to act in cases of domestic violence and are required to “use all reasonable means to prevent further abuse, neglect, or exploitation” (750 ILCS 60/303). This statue means all officers may be held liable if they fail to take sufficient action to prevent further harm to the victim.

on video and the case is plead down in LESS THAN 24 HOURS?
If this is not enough to infuriate the public then our
Republic is lost!
What was the rush to settle this case?
Is the DA going to settle the other pending case this scum
bag is waiting on? Did they forget about that case?
