In December of 2015, we published our first of many articles on the former Lincoln-Way School Superintendent Lawrence Wyllie.

Our investigation revealed improper employment contracts, using $44,000 of public school funds for a “Super-Dog” dog training school on school property where his private dogs would get trained, forcing school employees to perform work on his private residence, a sweet (and we believe corrupt) deal for Aunt Nancy’s Daycare within the school buildings, the district’s $500,000,000 in bond debt, the closing of the district’s newest high school decades before it was to be paid off, the district’s questionable auditing practices, free rent for for-profit business on school property, and Wyllie’s subsequent federal investigation and grand jury indictment.

Since his indictment, he has been claiming health problems, which has postponed his trial dates – now closing on four years.

This latest filing in the Northern District of Illinois shows a new status hearing scheduled for January 11, 2022, with the time “tolled” or excluded from counting toward statute of limitations to prosecute.

Give him the clot shot and his legal problems will disappear. Along with him.
