Adam Lopez – Eviction (nonpayment) complaint filed

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On October 19, 2018

SPRINGFIELD, IL. (ECWd) –

Adam Lopez was apparently more than 3 months past due on rent payments for his office in Springfield.

A lawsuit was filed at the end of September, 2018, seeking a Court Order to obtain entry into the rented space and to essentially evict Adam Lopez for nonpayment of rent in the amount of $4,505.00. His monthly rent was $1350 until Sept, then increased to $1400 per month.

According to court records, Lopez was served (by posting of the notice at the premises) with a 5-day notice of rent due on September 20th.

He never tendered payment.

On September 29, an Affidavit of constructive service was filed indicating that Lopez is “concealed so that process cannot be served upon him.” This affidavit indicates when and where service was attempted.

This lawsuit was filed with a summons issued for Lopez to appear in Court on October 5th, 2018.

Online court records do not indicate if the October 5th Hearing was held.
