State Representative Ives circulating petitions for Governor

By Kirk Allen & John Kraft

On October 28, 2017

Illinois – (ECWd)

“Today my team and I are taking the first step toward restoring common sense in Illinois,” Ives said. “I have started circulating petitions to get on the ballot as governor of Illinois.” (Prairie State Wire)

Although a formal announcement that she is running has not been made, the first step of getting on the ballot and identifying future support has begun with the circulation of petitions.

Full coverage appears to be the first shared by the Prairie State Wire that includes links to download petitions for circulation.  (Prairie State Wire)

We suspect this is not the Shake Up Governor Rauner was looking for.

I’m a republican precinct committeeman and I’m elated that Jeannie Ives will be running! I will go online and get her petition and get busy! I held off circulating Rauner’s Petition hoping someone else would step in the ring. And a women to boot! Yes!

When I testified in Springfield for the first time ever, Jeanne Ives helped me and enabled me to help get a change started amending the Open Meetings Act with a long overdue change that passed unanimously. A very special decent person. She is NOT a Rino….
