  1. The federal government spent $4.34 billion on public relations in the last seven years.

  3. 3,092 federal ‘Public Affairs Officers’ are employed by over 200 federal agencies in FY2014.

    The real story is 4.34 billion and they have the image they have! For that they could have given every man, woman and child in the county $1,500 which might have actually improved their image a bit.
