Kings of Petty Politics Part 4 – “Repeat the Lie”

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On December 11, 2015

Edgar Co., IL. (ECWd) –
Finally, the Prairie Press finishes out their unwarranted attack on someone (me) who tried to verify a statement they quoted, by re-quoting what Farnham has already told them was misquoted. Maybe Nancy Zeman is still upset about my article on her brother, Sam Roberts? Or my outing the relationship in a followup article? I really don’t know, other than maybe they are upset in getting caught in misquoting, and failing to research.
Nothing like deliberately continuing in the wrong direction.
As we wrote in a previous article, Karl Farnham informed me that Nancy Zeman had misquoted him in the article about the Sheriff on the 911 board.
PP ends with encouraging all citizens to recognize my action as petty politics. Sure, why not? How dare someone try an actually verify statements made by public officials.
The amount of time spent typing the eight word response to my FOIA request was far less than the amount of time PP reporters spend after meetings asking questions of board members, you know, “wasting their time” and “costing tax payers money”…
The petty politics title belongs to the Prairie Press, not only for their reporting of pre-election false alarms of a 911 system on the brink of disaster, to their complete failure of holding any public official accountable to the law and the public.
You sheeple should simply put blinders on and believe what they tell you to believe.
ECWd, on the other hand, provides the public records for you to review and make up your own mind.
As far as the subtitle to their editorial, “Kraft, Watchdogs issue with Farnham is petty politics and nothing more”, it continues their false storyline of our actions. It continues their covering up for local government, the Truth be damned.
The current issue with Farnham is the fact that he is continuing to illegally collect insurance benefits on the backs of the tax payer. He is violating the law and he will have to repay all of it when the court gets thru with him. It currently sits at over $17,000.00 of illegally collected benefits. You will never find the PP reporting on that issue, for if they did, their reliance on advertising would rear its ugly head.

All this garbage about FOIA costing them money, when in fact their budget is what it is and nothing more is spent just because a FOIA comes into their office.

Complain about FOIA costs while ignoring over $17,000 worth of benefits on the backs of the taxpayer without any legal authority. People truly are clueless.
