Disgraced Former Alderman Bev Church finally truthful about residence address –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

MARSHALL, IL. (ECWd) –

After all the months of denying, defending, lying, accusing others of “picking on her”, and attempts to cling to an elected position that she had no right or authority to possess, Bev Church finally changed her voting address to reflect the truth about where her actual place of residence was and is solidifying the fact that most of the currently sitting Marshall City Alderman, including the Mayor, were just fine and dandy with her sitting there in direct violation of the law. Remember that at the polling place!

Her husband, Mike Church, even attended city council meetings attacking an Alderman, Warren LeFever, because he thought that Alderman invited us, ECWd, to look into the affairs of the city – Mike Church was wrong as usual because the Alderman he accused, and is still angry at, is not the person that asked us to look at things in Marshall.

Now Mike is busy running around town spreading unwarranted hate and placing hate signs around town to somehow vindicate his wife’s lawbreaking ways. I suggest that Mike pick another target because he is most certainly making himself look like a fool – unless he is still trying to make up for those skeletons in his closet…

While it is true that LeFever filed a lawsuit to oust the usurper of public office, Bev Church (here), he did that knowing it was the right thing to do. Bev, however, couldn’t even be truthful when she resigned from office in order to make the lawsuit moot.

She finally left a trail to follow though, when she changed her voter registration to reflect her truthful and actual place of residence – and it is not within the city limits of Marshall. Yes, she changed it from her business on Archer Street to her actual residence out in the countryside – far away from the city limits.

Don’t you think this would be something the readers of the Marshall Advocate would be interested in reading as a followup to her resignation article? I seriously doubt if Gary Strohm would ever include this truth in his publication – it would not fit his agenda of alienating LeFever from press coverage.
