High School Student schools Mayor Sanders on right and wrong…

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On January 13, 2015

MARSHALL, IL. (ECWd) –

During public comments at the Marshall City Council Meeting held January 12, 2015, Miss Tevy Spires, a 17 year old High School Senior talked to the Council and Mayor Sanders about following the rules set forth in law, and especially election rules. This comes on the heals of a city alderman resigning after being sued for being ineligible for office, and also the actions of the mayor when he decided to pass an Affidavit around town to help justify petition failures in the upcoming election for Park District Commissioners.

As for Miss Spires – More people should take the courage to speak up when they feel their rights have been violated. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

This young lady was Unexpected but delivered her thought while making great eye contact and keeping everyone’s attention. I didn’t know who she was, but she was very well prepared.

WOW! These officials who are misbehaving and/or committing crimes better watch out in a few years because this young lady appears to be headed to the U. Of Illinois Law School. Imagine, a 17 year-old NOT using ‘awsome’, ‘you know’, ‘I mean’ and ‘like.’ She’s the winner here. These old horses need to examine themselves and act like public servants, not like Illinois Public Servants. She may well have set the future tone of government in Marshall, Illinois.

I have a daughter who is 18 years old now and graduated high school last year in a suburb of Chicago Illinois and is now living in Coles County Illinois where she grew up until her high school years and then moved away with her mother. Wow!…I’m so impressed by this high school senior in Marshall, Illinois abilities to effectively communicate her thoughts on this case in public under pressure. I hope there are lots more just like her in the future in small towns and big cities alike. Great job Tevy! Keep speaking out in public meetings please. Thank you. I’m sure your family and friends are proud of you. They obviously have raised you well. I thank them as well for that. More parents should do the same obviously. Young people like Tevy are our future leaders in my mind. And words like she spoke will save our nation and our world from the tyrants that rule it currently.

Our future depends on it. Our lives literally depend on it. It’s all our responsibilities to get WELL informed and then inform others MORE than we do. We all need to get MORE involved in OUR community. It’s our civic duty as good citizens who expect change in the status quo. WE MUST END PUBLIC CORRUPTION NOW! Public trust EROSION if left unchecked, will eventually cause a complete collapse of our government agencies foundations that our government and our Constitution is built on. This is what some behind the veil of secrecy in secret societies want to happen and plan for it far in advance obviously.

We ALL, young and old alike, must be WILLING to take mitigated risks in life and even life threatening risks if required of us to get the job done if no one else can, to defend and protect those who can’t speak out for whatever reasons, and make personal sacrifices for OTHER PEOPLE and their FREEDOM AND SECURITY and ultimately that will secure yours and mine I pray. Everything will be ok I think. Our humanity and faith in Jesus Christ will save our world from destruction ultimately. We will survive and thrive in the future if We the People unite against TYRANNY, fascism and evil. Separation from God and each other is the real enemy. Join us!

I pray this well informed high school girl named Tevy Spires, inSPIRES more young people to display the same courage she did in speaking out in public meetings under pressure. She is obviously well aware of this issue because of the THOROUGH investigation into it by IllinoisLeaks.com and was well prepared and WELL informed because of the countless hours John Kraft and Kirk Allen put into it at no charge to the public to expose these criminal activities of our public servants like in this case in Marshall Illinois. Good job.

Job well done by everyone involved. Thank you all. I am going to make sure my 18 year old daughter sees this article and hears this girl named Tevy Spires voice deliver her words in public under pressure. I pray it inSPIRES my daughter to do the same.

I am Miss Spires’ mother. I could not be more proud. She has watched me expose a lot of corruption in the Clark County Park District and it had driven her to speak out on her opinions. I am currently running for Park Board Commissioner to attempt to bring some credibility back to our local government entities in order to serve all members of our community. She is my inspiration to push even harder! I was told today by Mr. Allen that Representative Halbrook had called him to comment on my daughter’s speech. It is quite enlightening and uplifting!
