Another false police report filed by a Wesley Township Official

Will Co. (ECWd) –

In another episode from the twilight zone of Wesley Township, we find yet another Township Official who thinks people have no right to question their actions.

Wesley Township Clerk Sarah Norton contacted the Willmington Police yesterday citing a citizen was harassing her.  Based on the video evidence it was her father, former Road Commissioner John Norton who advised she contact the police.  That would be the same John Norton that is captured on camera during the entire episode in question and calling the citizen a pedophile.  We covered daddy’s actions in this article.

The same John Norton found in this pictures setting a fine example of parenting for his daughter sitting next to him in the truck.

The person filming the episode was at the Township Office to speak with the current Road Commissioner and decided to video the event as the file door was open and he heard people talking from the room.  As can be seen in the video, there was no “harassment” taking place nor “stalking” as the Township Clerk insinuated in the video.

Of interest to us is the fact our FOIA’s have not been complied with because the Clerk, the one claiming she is being stalked in the video, was supposedly on vacation.  It is clear from the video she was not fulfilling FOIA’s and we can only wonder why they exited the file room so quickly after being confronted by a concerned citizen.

We understand the citizen was contacted by the police last night and that an attorney will be contacting the PD regarding this matter.  It will be most interesting to see what the Clerk said in her written report versus what the video shows.  It would not surprise me that it does not represent the actual events that took place and we suspect they left out the part where her daddy called the citizen a pedophile.

  1. Was the former Road Commissioner using the camera to record documents in the file room so as not to leave a record on the copier? When the person filming entered the room, she was below the level of the desktop, perhaps so the lens of the camera the former Road Commissioner could focus on documents at floor level.
