McLean Co. YWCA Director and candidate for Bloomington City Council issues profanity laden threat –

BLOOMINGTON, IL. (ECWd) –

Apparently, this candidate for public office is still living the fantasy life of a child, thinking she can simply issue threats and no one is going to pay attention.  We are paying attention and threats like this from political candiates need called out by all political sides of the aisle. Those who ignore it with silence are actually condoning it.

Jennifer Carrillo, the McLean County (IL) YWCA Mission Impact Director and Candidate for Bloomington City Council Ward 6, and a graduate of Illinois State University, issued the following statement in her FaceBook page (pic of it here) just above a picture of a firebombed car:

“A reminder to all local, state and federal officials: “When you aggressively f**k with people’s lives, you should not be surprised when they decide to f**k with yours.”

It is our duty to make it intolerably uncomfortable to do evil.

Do not let the folks who value politeness over justice to convince you otherwise.”

BLNNEWS.com first reported on this and has more detailed information (here).

Does this fit within the mission statement and values of a YWCA?

We are anxiously awaiting Bloomington Mayor Tari Renner’s endorsement of her and her actions.

What’s the over/under of her being the former YMCA Director in the near future especially if she posted this during business hours from the non profit’s property?

The line “all political sides of the isle” should read “all political sides of the aisle.” Although pronounced the same way in English, the former means island, and the latter means the space for walking between seats.

Better get your organizations correct if you are going to criticize. This is YWCA not YMCA.

You are a little late to the party, it was corrected within an hour of publishing.

You say that like it matters. Bloomington / Normal is being overrun by a loud-mouthed group of people who do not share the views of the community and are being supported by organizations like the YWCA. It started with the “Not in Our Town” program that was started by a couple who moved to the community and thought we were all backwards racists.

Fast forward and our city is awash in SJWs bleating for the criminals to have rights.

The YWCA went south a while back, but so has the Boy & Girl Scout organizations, along with many churches. Appears that many Christians feel they need to keep up with the times rather than following God’s unchanging Word. Don’t think a lot of people realize how far off the beaten path this organization has gone.

Did you see the CEO of the YWCA’s letter about this? More rallies. They were supposed to call me back on April 7 to meet with Diane Benjamin and I. They never called..they silenced us. Jenn didn’t get fired. The Leader of the YWCA IS COMPLICIT IN THE VIOLENT POST!
