Atlanta Library – Did Bill Thomas commit perjury at the Secretary of State’s public hearing today?

By Kirk Allen & John Kraft

On February 6, 2018

Logan Co. (ECWd) –

The Atlanta Library had their hearing with the Secretary of State today regarding the demand for repayment of a $25,000.00 grant the library received based on a fraudulent application.

Bill Thomas, former Atlanta Library Board member was put under oath and testified.  May we suggest that someone look into perjury charges for Mr. Thomas?

He testified under oath that he had not signed any rent checks to his company on behalf of the Library in a feeble attempt to lead people to believe there was no conflict of his being a board member and renting the building to his company.

Does a copy of a William Thomas’ signature on a check for $1,000.00 payable to his company, Teleologic Learning Co., and the memo section saying “June rent” indicate he lied under oath?

What is the public to believe?  A copy of a check signed by Mr. Thomas or his statement on the witness stand under oath that he has never signed a rent check to his company?

Once again, pesky facts appear to make a liar out of former Atlanta Library District Board Member Bill Thomas, who submitted a resignation letter on January 31st, 2018.  He testified that he resigned so that he could rent office space from the Library.  More on that to come.

I could be wrong but nothing surprises me when you have people who are already being underhanded. In the original livestream when they start their defense the audio seems to be jammed until Bill stops speaking. Look at this example… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpqn-CtywkI
Seems you have a clean copy though. Again I could be wrong but from the example you can see what am talking about.

The audio issue was mine – I hit the wrong button on the streaming software, and unchecked it after I figured out what the problem was…

The camera captured a full clean copy. The live stream was a minor error on our part that got fixed during the hearing. Full video coming!
