U-46 approves false meeting minutes –

ELGIN, IL. (ECWd) –

Once the U46 School Board realized they had to answer to the Attorney General for the October 19, 2015 incidents, they changed the minutes for that meeting by approving “their amended version” of the meeting minutes for October 19, 2015 – with the clear attempt at falsifying public record of what actually happened. Instead of approving what actual occurred, they chose to approve a lie. What a bad example to set for the students of U46…the board should be ashamed, but instead they are probably celebrating with more catered food straight out of the pockets of the taxpayers.

Those amended minutes do not reflect the truth about the series of meetings conducted on October 19.

The approved amended lie states that the “Regular Meeting of the Board of Education was called to order at 5:20 p.m.

The ORIGINAL minutes reported the meeting accurately as far as the start time for the “Regular Meeting” as 7:17 p.m.:

There are those little pesky things called “facts”, or Meeting Agendas, which clearly indicate the “Closed Session Agenda”, the Closed meeting of the Board of Education of School District U-46 will be held at 5:15 p.m. – and the Regular (Business) Meeting of the Board of Education of School District U-46 will meet at 7:00 P.M. (view below).

Additionally, there just happens to be a police report which includes the below agendas from these meetings that clearly indicate 2 separate agendas and meetings – and these agendas were supplied to the Elgin Police Department by the School Security Officer.

How sad it must be for the children of U46 School District to wake up in the morning and realize the majority of their school board is not telling the truth. Shameful.
