Invenergy Attorney: "Wind Turbine blades are designed to fall straight down on failure"…

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On April 29, 2014

FANTASYLAND – (ECWd) –
That’s right, Mr. Blazier, the attorney for Invenergy’s California Ridge Wind Farm, stated during a recent Vermilion County Board meeting that “these things are designed to fall straight down if they break off”.
Mr. Donahue, Vermilion County’s Assistant State’s Attorney, has stated that the notion that these things just go out of control and blow up is wrong, and these people know it (talking about county residents).
Please watch the below 30 second video from last fall and see for yourself if that is what they actually do:
Disclaimer: This video was not taken in Vermilion County, and most likely is not an Invenergy turbine, it simply provides evidence that things do go wrong.

So why did the blade in Adair Iowa go over 750 away from the turbine and 4-6 feet into the ground?

Exactly, they are professionals at skewing public opinion – until something actually happens.

How do you know it landed 750 ft away? I didn’t see an article that reported where the Adair blade landed.Of course, how can they claim that ALL the debris will “fall straight down”? Surely if a quarter thrown off the Empire State Building can kill someone, a chunk of aerodynamic debris falling from a whirling blade 300-500 feet can kill someone.

They are building these due to global warming. We are supposed to believe its all man made and these will solve the problem. But look at this survey of scientists against the lies of global warming. They’ve signed a petition (30 thousand plus)…9 thousand are Phd level.

These are inefficient machines. And, no one can really believe the blades will just drop straight down. They can shatter, and when whirlling around they are NOT going to drop straight down. However, if the lawyer says so it must be true and if the American Wind Energy Asssociation says so it must be true, Ha 🙂 it is amazing how many county board members will believe whatever is told them without really thinking about the logic. Or, maybe they just don’t want to believe that the wind company would be telling them a story to get what they want.
