Moron – A stupid person
Further defined as a fool, idiot, blockhead, dunce, dolt, ignoramus, imbecile, cretin, dullard, simpleton, clod,informal nitwit, dope, ninny, nincompoop, chump, dimwit, dingbat, dipstick, coot, goon, dumbo, dummy, ditz, dumdum, fathead, numbskull, numbnuts, dunderhead, thick-head, airhead, butthead, flake, lamer, lamebrain, zombie, nerd, pea-brain, bird-brain, scissorbill, jughead, mouth-breather, jerk, donkey, twit, goat, twerp, hoser, schmuck, bozo, boob, turkey, schlep, chowderhead, dumbhead, goofball, goof, goofus, galoot, lummox, knuckle-dragger, klutz, schlemiel, sap, meatball, dumb cluck, mook.
Moron was the term used by Edgar County Board Member Mike Heltsley, during a recent county highway meeting. He wanted to know what Moron created the designated truck route in the county. The County Highway Engineer, Aaron Lawson, wasted no time informing Mr. Heltsley that the Moron would be himself, Mr. Lawson, the person who in fact created the designated truck route that has been part of the master plan for years, to which to date no resistance to that plan has been expressed.
So being that Mike Helstley so eloquently defined the creator of the truck route as a Moron can we assume that such a person would stand on his principals and not support such a truck route……….assuming he as principals?
No, Mike Heltsley, in true Mikey fashion, voted in favor of the very truck route he was so against to the point he declared the creator of it a Moron.
I would contend that a person who felt it was a bad idea would vote their convictions instead of voting for it. I am betting most would agree that a person who votes in favor of an idea they claimed was a creation of a Moron might just be a Moron himself………and he wants to run for Sheriff!
